✎ More about Neymar. He began playing football at an early age and he was soon spotted by Santos FC. He made his professional debut on 7 March 2009, despite being only 17 years old. He was twice named the South American Footballer of the Year before moving to Europe to join Barcelona. His participation in the 2014 FIFA World Cup was cut short by injury. As part of Barça’s attacking trio, he won the continental treble of La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League. His €222 million transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain made him the most expensive player ever. With 60 goals in 96 matches for Brazil since debuting at age 18, Neymar is the third highest goalscorer for his national team. He’s considered as one of the best players in the world.
